Mischa Barton has apparently been given the all-clear.
A paparazzi video shows the former “O.C.” star leaving a Los Angeles-area hospital at around 10 p.m. Monday, about five hours after she fell ill at a friend’s Memorial Day barbecue.
Barton’s rep has not yet responded to E! News’ request for comment, but tmz.com reported yesterday that the starlet suffered an adverse reaction after consuming a few cocktails on top of the prescription antibiotics she was taking for a persistent case of bronchitis.
No further details were available regarding her condition, but a source told TMZ that the 21-year-old Barton was “resting comfortably” shortly after being admitted to Sherman Oaks Hospital and that her mother and sister were by her side throughout.
Barton’s rep denied that the actress was abusing drugs or alcohol in any way that night, according to In Touch Weekly.
